Male and female will compete in seperate divisions.
Each taolu competitor will compete in two or three events (one bare-hand routine, one short weapon routine, and one long
weapon routine).
The best two events' scores will be used to rank the competitor in the final outcome.
Male and female competitors will be ranked seperately.
For group A, 3 boys and 3 girls will be selected. For group B, 2 boys and 2 girls will be selected.
These winners will bear the winning titles of the Western Canadian Junior Wushu Championship.
The selected 6 group A and 4 group B Western Canadian winners will be rated against the 6 group A and 4 group
B winners from Eastern Canada based on the video recording of this competition and the corresponding competition from
Eastern Canada, by a panel of judges.
From there, 3 boys and 3 girls in group A, 2 boys and 2 girls in group B, will be selected as the Canadian Junior Wushu
Team, and will represent Canada in the 1st World Junior Wushu Championship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from August 19 to 26,
2006.
